Anna Gardner
Anna has been involved with numerous theater projects since 2004, when she was cast in "Uh Oh! Here comes Christmas" at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in Wiesbaden. She went on to play the parts of Truvy in "Steel Magnolias" (who could forget the tight golden pants?) directed by Scott Davis, Goneril in "Prince Lear" (a one-act prequel to Shakespeare's "King Lear") directed by Charlie Fontana, Sarah Jockman in "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" directed by Dan LaMorte and the part of Melissa Gardner in A. R. Gurney's "Love Letters" under the direction of Antonia Kitzel.
She directed "Ravenswood", the first act of Terrence McNally's "Bad Habits", and has helped backstage in many productions. In 2010 she won a Topper Award for "Best Costume Design" ("A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody"), followed by a first place award for costume design in the World Wide Festival Of The Arts. And we don´t want to forget the brilliant costuming she did for the sold out run of "It's A Wonderful Life" at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in 2008. Now she is even running her own store for vintage clothing in Wiesbaden, called "Delight".
With that background it shouldn´t come as a surprise that she is the "Visual Director" at the KRT, and is always making sure the cast looks their best.
Anna has appeared on the KRT stage many times. She is an experienced sound effects artist and has played the parts of Ophelia ("Hamlet: Another Point of View"), Mrs Praetorius ("Slurp! Goes the Amoeba") and Annabella Smith ("The 39 Steps").
