Mike Riepl
Mike's theater career already began in 1990 and since then he's appeared in productions of "Glass Menagerie" (Tom), "Zoo Story" (Peter), "Ravenscroft" (Inspector Ruffing), "It's a Wonderful Life" (Clarence the Angel) and "The Spotted Man" (Eugene).
In the past few years he has also begun to write for the stage. His one act “Paradise is not all it´s cut out to be” premiered at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in 2010 under the direction of Roy Mroch. In 2012 the Wiesbaden English Language Theater (WELT) produced his well-received prequel to the German New Year´s Eve classic “Dinner for One” – called “Dinner for Five” - under the direction of Keith Greenleaf; and in the same year he directed his own play “The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs” for the Frankfurt English Speaking Theatre (FEST) for which he received an award for “Best Original Script” at the European Amateur Theatre Festival (FEATS).
KRT fans will remember Mike´s appearances as Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol” (2010), Phileas Fogg in “Around the World in 80 Days” (2012) and Majhrabi the Magnificent in “Arabian Nights” (2013).
