Karin Cheves Davis

Karin first performed in a radio show in the sixth grade. She then went on to do high school theater and graduated with a Theater Arts/English degree from Virginia Tech. She pursued an acting career in Los Angeles (aka “waited tables in LA”) and met her husband (Stephen Alexander Davis) in 2004 in Washington, DC when they were both cast in “Duranged”, a collection of short plays by Christopher Durang. She also studied improvisational theater in Las Vegas with “The Second City” and “Improv Vegas”.
You may recognize her from Amelia Earhart Playhouse productions such as “Prelude to a Kiss”, “White Christmas”, “Bad Habits” and “Little Shop of Horrors”, the WELT (Wiesbaden English Language Theater) production of “Daddy’s Girl”, her “commercial work” on AFN, and her appearances in “General Chaos”, an English language improve group in Wiesbaden she is a founding member of.
For the KRT she appeared as “Gayle Garden” ( The Amazing Interplanetary Adventures of Clash Gordon and Gayle Garden), “Lucy Westenra” (Dracula), and “Princess Jasmine” (The Amazing Oriental Adventures of Sinbad the Sailor and Princess Jasmine).

Mike Riepl

Mike's theater career already began in 1990 and since then he's appeared in productions of "Glass Menagerie" (Tom), "Zoo Story" (Peter), "Ravenscroft" (Inspector Ruffing), "It's a Wonderful Life" (Clarence the Angel) and "The Spotted Man" (Eugene).

In the past few years he has also begun to write for the stage. His one act “Paradise is not all it´s cut out to be” premiered at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in 2010 under the direction of Roy Mroch. In 2012 the Wiesbaden English Language Theater (WELT) produced his well-received prequel to the German New Year´s Eve classic “Dinner for One” – called “Dinner for Five” - under the direction of Keith Greenleaf; and in the same year he directed his own play “The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs” for the Frankfurt English Speaking Theatre (FEST) for which he received an award for “Best Original Script” at the European Amateur Theatre Festival (FEATS).

KRT fans will remember Mike´s appearances as Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol” (2010), Phileas Fogg in “Around the World in 80 Days” (2012) and Majhrabi the Magnificent in “Arabian Nights” (2013).

Anna Gardner

Anna has been involved with numerous theater projects since 2004, when she was cast in "Uh Oh! Here comes Christmas" at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in Wiesbaden. She went on to play the parts of Truvy in "Steel Magnolias" (who could forget the tight golden pants?) directed by Scott Davis, Goneril in "Prince Lear" (a one-act prequel to Shakespeare's "King Lear") directed by Charlie Fontana, Sarah Jockman in "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" directed by Dan LaMorte and the part of Melissa Gardner in A. R. Gurney's "Love Letters" under the direction of Antonia Kitzel.

She directed "Ravenswood", the first act of Terrence McNally's "Bad Habits", and has helped backstage in many productions. In 2010 she won a Topper Award for "Best Costume Design" ("A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody"), followed by a first place award for costume design in the World Wide Festival Of The Arts. And we don´t want to forget the brilliant costuming she did for the sold out run of "It's A Wonderful Life" at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in 2008. Now she is even running her own store for vintage clothing in Wiesbaden, called "Delight".

With that background it shouldn´t come as a surprise that she is the "Visual Director" at the KRT, and is always making sure the cast looks their best.

Anna has appeared on the KRT stage many times. She is an experienced sound effects artist and has played the parts of Ophelia ("Hamlet: Another Point of View"), Mrs Praetorius ("Slurp! Goes the Amoeba") and Annabella Smith ("The 39 Steps").
