Diana Schupp

Happy Birthday to our musical director!

The KRT surely wouldn´t be where it is now without Diana´s goosebump inducing vocal performances.
She blew us away when she first performed in our "Sci-Fi Radio" production in 2012 and has been contributing to our shows ever since.
This summer she co-founded the "Kryptonite Sisters" and is now getting ready for our holiday production of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz".

Here´s to our favorite diva!

The Call of Cthulhu

Whether you missed "The Call of Cthulhu" or you enjoyed it so much you want to hear it again, here is a link to the original production from our friends of the "Dark Adventure Radio Theatre".

The production quality of their recordings is excellent and perfect to get into the mood for Halloween.

Many thanks to DART and the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society for giving us permission to use their script!

Joseph Melicosta

Happy Birthday to the original Clash Gordon!

Mr. Melicosta has been a mainstay of Kryptonite Radio Theater since its very beginnings. Even though he specializes in playing the handsome, young and athletic hero figure, he has been cast in many other roles as well: whether it´s the evil villain or the mad scientist - you can always expect top notch performances from this guy!

Here´s to many more!

The Fitzrovia Radio Hour

If you're planning a trip to the UK and you enjoy radio theater, check out the Fitzrovia Radio Hour!

Got to see Fitzrovia Radio Hour last night. A very refreshing take on radio theater - very "British". Great pace and staging. Creative and funny sound effects. Wonderful actresses and actors. I hope I can catch another show of theirs next time I'm in London!

Jerry Beatty

Jerry has been involved in theater his whole life. For his M.F.A. degree in theater directing he stage managed “Long Day’s Journey into Night”, which starred the late Helen Hayes in her final live theater production. For the U.S. Army’s theater program, he founded and directed the Stable Theatre in Bamberg (1985-1996) and designed and directed the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in Wiesbaden (1996-2002). He was the USO Director for the Rhein-Main Area (2002-2004) and is running his own business since 2004: BUBBLES OH LA LA!

The list of over 150 comedies, dramas, farces and musicals Jerry directed includes “Cabaret”, “Anything Goes”, “Dracula”, “Fools”, “Little Me”, and “Sweeney Todd”. He received numerous European Topper Awards in the categories of “Best Director”, “Best Sound Design” and “Best Show” and won “Best Army Theater/Entertainment Program in the World” in 2000 with the Amelia Earhart Playhouse.
